Google Workspace Alert Center Setup for Workbench

This article helps you add the Google Workspace Alert Center to your Expel Workbench.

Prerequisites

  1. Google Workspace must be onboarded before onboarding the Google Workspace Alert Center.

Step 1: Enable Google Workspace APIs

  1. Open the Google Cloud Console.

  2. From the menu in the upper left, select APIs & Services > Library.

  3. In the search field, type Google Workspace Alert Center API and press Enter.

  4. In the list of search results, select the Google Workspace Alert Center API.

  5. Select Enable.

Step 2: Grant the Service Account the Required API Permission Scope

  1. Open the Google Workspace admin console at https://admin.google.com/ac/owl/domainwidedelegation.

  2. Navigate to Security > API Controls > Manage Domain Wide Delegation.

  3. Find and select the Expel service account set up when you onboarded Google Workspace.

  4. Add this API permission scope to the list: https://www.googleapis.com/auth/apps.alerts.

  5. Save and close.
